This focused session will deal with differentiated curriculum and instructional strategies to address the needs of all learners in the science classroom. Participants will experience a model lesson that incorporates various strategies that empower diverse learners to understand challenging concepts. All attendees will leave with activities that can be easily implemented in their own classrooms.
In this session, attendees will have the opportunity to consider the research concerning best practices for differentiation in the science classroom, experience a sample lesson that models the key components of differentiation, and reflect on how to implement these best practices in their own contexts.
One 6-hour or two 3-hour sessions
Up to 50 participants per session
We provide all training materials and a booklet for each participant. Each attendee will also receive a digital download of all resources used in training with a single-teacher license to use the materials with their students.
