Think Big Learning Grade 5 STAAR Blitz
OVERVIEW
Looking to infuse your STAAR review with rigor and fun? This 6-hour session models engaging formative assessment activities that address all readiness and some supporting standards. Participants will leave with digital copies of the activities that can be used to check for understanding, not only before the STAAR, but throughout the school year as well.
DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES
This session addresses all 11 readiness standards in 5th grade and some supporting standards, while promoting strong formative assessment of important concepts. We utilize engaging activities, games, and stations to boost retention of key concepts for all learners.

Ideal for a 6-hour session; can also be done as two 3-hour sessions
Up to 50 participants per session
We provide all training materials and a booklet for each participant. Each attendee will also receive a digital download of all resources used in training with a single-teacher license to use the materials with their students.
