About Us

We are a team of science educators who are passionate about making science engaging and accessible for all learners. We love to share high quality resources, facilitate professional learning experiences, and empower students and teachers to think big! We also love to laugh and insist on having fun wherever we go!

The Think Big Learning team is made up of Marianne Dobrovolny and Tobi McMillan. We met in 2004 when Marianne was attending Texas Tech University and was assigned to student teach in Tobi’s classroom. Hitting it off from day one, we have been finding ways to work together ever since. We later taught at the same school, served as science education specialists together, and have been collaborating on curriculum and professional development for over a decade.

We have done professional development all over Texas, the United States, and once even had the pleasure of working with teachers in Papua New Guinea! We launched Think Big Learning together in 2017, opening our Teachers Pay Teachers store and continuing our roles as educational consultants.
